Position Changes within Student Life
When there is a change in a staff member’s position number, be sure to make the following updates:
- Submit a new Wireless Communication Stipend
- Request a new P-card
- Submit a new UA Compensation for Additional Degree/Certification
- Update approver roles (if applicable)
- E-time
- Monthly leave
- Concur supervisor
Continuing Education
If you are taking classes with the University, the Educational Benefit Form should be completed each summer to ensure that the UA tuition benefit is applied to your student account for the upcoming academic year.
Please note that you only have to select the fall term on the form. Selecting fall now automatically includes the spring and summer terms.
Be sure to discuss your continuing education plans with your supervisor and complete the Student Life Continuing Education Agreement to establish, in writing, the plans regarding time away from office.

Teaching Classes
Student Life employees may have an opportunity to teach an academic course during the year. Be sure to discuss the details with your supervisor and complete the Student Life Memorandum of Understanding. Refer to the UA Staff Compensation Policy for more information.
